We're thrilled to be hosting a fabulous Welsh wine tasting evening with White Castle Vineyard and their Award-Winning Welsh Wines.
Throughout the evening you'll enjoy 5 tasting Welsh wines accompanied by carefully paired cheeses and our chefs signature canapés, plus live music from Welsh singer Savannah Mountain.
Afterwards, our shop will be open with exclusive case wine deals and all the cheeses you have tasted available to purchase to take home!
Ticket price £45 per person. Simply book your space using the online booking system below (select Thursday 13th July at 18:30 from the calendar and follow the steps to secure your booking.)
Please note that the £45 per person charge will be taken at time of booking. As per our cancellation policy, if you do not arrive for your reservation or cancel within 48 hours or less notice of your visit, you will be charged and cannot request a refund. Please enter any dietary requirements in the comments box when booking.
About your hosts; White Castle Vineyard
White Castle Vineyard is a Welsh vineyard situated near the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth. It is owned and run by Robb and Nicola Merchant. The 5 acre gently sloping, south facing field has over 6000 vines. Robb & Nicola have attended Plumpton College East Sussex to study viticulture, this training giving them the skills needed to produce quality Welsh Wines.
They have carefully selected varieties that they know will grow well in their soil and produce grapes of the highest possible quality in the micro climate of the vineyard.
The grapes are closely monitored, as they ripen they will be carefully hand harvested and selected, then immediately transported to the winery for pressing to ensure we retain all the freshness and fruity aromas intact.
Event T's & C's: You must be over 18 to book on to and attend this event. ID may be required at the event. The 5 tasting wines, port, cheese tasters and canapés are all included in your ticket price. Additional food and beverages will be at an additional charge and will need to be paid for on the night, as well as any purchases made in our shop.
